Granny square challenge week 5

This week we will make the African Somalia flower.

I found it on  the Wise Craft blog

but the design is from Kathy from Just Crafty Enough.

NOTE!

I didn`t make the magic loop at the beginning

 I made ch. 5 into a ring,

round one then goes into the ring.

I followed the pattern till round 5.

Round 6: 3 ch, 1 dc in every stitch, in the corners 3 dc, 2 ch, 3 dc

all the way around, end with sl st in 3rd ch.

Round 7: same as 6 end off.

Dutch translation

sc = single crochet = vaste

dc = double crochet = stokje

sl st = slip stitch = halve vaste

sk 1 st = skip 1 stitch = sla 1 steek over

hdc = half double crochet = half stokje
